While I don't generally condone putting down a good micro-brew, this article really resonated with me. A simple thing I try to live by every day: When considering whether I should take an action, particularly something that could impact others, I ask "If everyone in the world took the same action (or inaction), would the world be better off or worse?" If it would be better, I do it. If worse, I don't. (Think road rage people!)
